What Boost actually does
Boost temporarily moves your listing to the top of your exact city and category — nothing more, nothing less. It never changes your TurkishLocal Score, and it's never how a TurkishFriend recommendation is decided. VIP includes one free 7-day Boost every month; every other Boost, on either plan, is a preview-before-you-pay purchase from your Business Center.
Before you decide
What actually happens if I stop paying?+
Your profile and everything in it is saved, not deleted. It simply stops being publicly visible — on the homepage, in search, and on its own page — the moment your membership isn’t active, and reappears automatically the moment payment succeeds again. Nothing about a card expiring costs you your listing history or your verification.
What does "Boost" actually cost, and is it included?+
VIP includes one free 7-day Boost every month, applied automatically. Beyond that — for Standard and Premium members, and for any extra Boost beyond VIP’s free one — Boost works like a preview, not a fixed price: you choose how much you’d like to bid for temporary top placement in your city and category, see exactly how that compares to what’s already active before you commit, and pay only if you go ahead.
Can I move between plans later?+
Yes — upgrading or downgrading is a setting change in your Business Center billing page, not a new application. Nothing about your profile, gallery, or score history resets.
Is annual billing really a discount, or is it 12× the monthly price?+
Annual is 10 months’ worth charged for 12 months of access — a genuine two months free, priced as its own plan in Stripe, never computed as "12 × monthly" at checkout. What you see here is exactly what you’re charged.
Does paying more guarantee bookings, traffic, or a certain number of customers?+
No — and we’d rather say that plainly than imply otherwise. Standard, Premium, and VIP change your visibility and your eligibility to be recommended; they don’t guarantee an outcome. The same restraint applies across everything TurkishFriend recommends, for the same reason: a recommendation only stays worth something if it’s never for sale on its own.
